Our U.S. harvested and processed squid (Loligo opalescens) are processed within 24 hours of harvest to maintain peak freshness and quality. The tubes and tentacles are cleaned, tenderized and frozen in 5lb blocks with no added chemicals. This is a great value pack that will provide 20-30 appetizer portions or 12-16 entrée portions. Just thaw, rinse and cook. Culinary note: to make calamari rings, all you need to do is slice the tubes to the ring thickness you want!
