Uni Whipped Cream

Want to really elevate your garnish game? Plop a dollop of this ocean fresh uni whipped cream on pan seared scallops, grilled or broiled fish, or savory fish pie. You could also use it a luxurious dip for shrimp or scallops! Recipe courtesy Christina Ng of Chinitas Pies.


  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • Zest of two lemons
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp uni, pureed until smooth
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of white pepper

How to Prepare:

  1. Using a cold bowl, whisk or whip heavy cream in a KitchenAid or with a handheld mixer until slightly thickened.
  2. Add remainder of ingredients and whip until soft/medium peaks form. 
  3. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
