Attend the Inaugural Ocean Awareness Challenge at Emerald Bay, Catalina Island!

By Rebecca Gardon

Scheduled for September 9-11, 2016 at Mountain & Sea Adventure Camp at Emerald Bay, Catalina Island, the inaugural Ocean Awareness Challenge (OAC) will bring together like-minded people who care about the health of our oceans. The 3-day summer camp-style event serves to create awareness of the condition of our oceans and challenge individuals to make meaningful changes in their own lives to help improve these conditions. Attendees will get to hear from expert speakers in the field of marine science and ecology, including Dave Rudie, and additional activities will feature hands-on learning opportunities, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, happy hours, and more.

All meals, presentations and activities are included in the registration fee. Proceeds will be used to fund scholarships to send under-served youth to Mountain & Sea Adventure Camp. Interested in attending? Click HERE for more info!
