Also known as silver salmon for its beautiful silver skin, Coho salmon is beloved for its delicious salmon flavor and moderately fatty texture that flakes well. Coho is typically described as being more intensely flavored than King salmon, but not as intense as Sockeye. Although its deep reddish-orange fillets appear quite soft, they become firm after being cooked. This wild U.S. catch is ideal for grilling, but can also be baked, pan seared, poached or smoked for equally excellent results.

Each 1/2 pound Coho salmon portion comes skin on. If planning to grill or pan sear your salmon, we highly recommend leaving the skin intact and crisping it during cooking. So delicious!
