The result of a partnership between Ekone Oyster Company and Taylor Shellfish Farms, these sustainably-sourced smoked mussels are grown in Totten Inlet located in the Puget Sound of Washington state. After the mussels are harvested, the meats are removed and lightly brined using all natural ingredients and no preservatives. The mussels are then cold smoked and packed with 2 tsp of high oleic organic sunflower oil in an easy open can. One can has approximately 25 percent of your daily protein and is full of natural B12, zinc and iron. Enjoy these delicious smoked mussels straight out of the can, on toasty bread or crackers, or tossed into pastas or chowders. Shelf stable for up to 5 years from the production date. Ingredients: Mussels, Salt, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Sugar, Organic Garlic Powder, Organic Onion Powder, *Citric Acid, Natural Smoke  *Citric Acid used as a flavor enhancement only.
