Mt. Cook Alpine Salmon live in the swift cold currents of pure glacial water amid the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Constant swimming against the water flow means they develop firm flesh with high levels of omega-3 fatty acids and less inter-muscular fat than ocean-reared salmon. It is said that Mt. Mt. Cook Alpine SAIKOU is pure king salmon. Sustainably farmed, it is naturally free of parasites, GMO, antibiotics, chemicals, mercury and other heavy metals. In fact, Mt. Cook Alpine’s non-polluting farm is so pure, the water is drinkable both above and below the farm.
