Baja Rock Crab

Product Description

Rock crab (Cancer anthonyi, Cancer productus, Cancer antennarius) is an excellent local alternative to both Pacific dungeness crab and Florida stone crab. Trap harvested year round in the cool waters of the Pacific Ocean off Southern California and Baja California, our Baja rock crabs average 1 to 1.1 pounds. Because they have the ability to regenerate their claws and limbs, and studies show that their claws grow back quickly, rock crabs are also a sustainable seafood choice!

Our live rock crabs are as fresh as you can get because we purchase directly from reputable fishermen who take great pride in providing the highest quality seafood. Crabs are caught and immediately iced and brought to our live tanks where they are held until you order. We package our live seafood with care, keep cold in insulated boxes and ship overnight with FedEx so that it reaches your door fresher than the vast majority of most supermarkets and restaurants.

We also have available Baja rock crab claws and Mar Azul brand Baja rock crab meat.
